Dr. Ravi Singhal
Expert Talk: Nanomaterial and Fluorescence-Tag Assisted Molecular Diagnostics
From DNA/RNA detection principles to clinically relevant readouts and structured protocol design.
The event will focus on the complete journey from research idea to digital protocol, experimental design, parameter standardization, automation-ready workflow preparation and demonstration of machine-assisted laboratory execution. The objective is to help students, researchers, startups, faculty members and industry participants understand how structured protocols can reduce experimental ambiguity, improve repeatability and support faster movement from laboratory research to applied product development.
The workshop will also highlight selected use cases in nanomaterials, biosensors, electrochemical sensing, molecular biology workflows and applied nanotechnology for healthcare and environmental monitoring. Through Protoly, participants will see how experimental steps, reagents, parameters, safety notes, observations and outcomes can be captured in a standardized format. Through the NanoScience Lab automation hardware machine system, the program will demonstrate how selected steps such as dispensing, mixing, heating, sonication, illumination, electrochemical operation, camera-based monitoring and data logging can support reproducible R&D workflows.
