GIBS Hackathon, From Concept to Product: TRL, Commercialization & Tech Transfer

From Concept to Product: TRL, Commercialization & Tech Transfer is a one-day workshop focused on helping student entrepreneurs shape innovative ideas into structured, market-ready concepts. Entries will be invited from interested students. All submissions will be screened and shortlisted in advance, and shortlisted entries will be judged on the main event day. The seminar will cover foundational themes such as TRL/IRL/MRL overview, IP commercialization and technology-transfer pathways, and the innovation development pipeline for lab-to-market readiness. The practical workshop/challenge using real case studies aligned with shortlisted submissions, will also be discussed where participants refine their ideas through structured discussion and guided inputs. 

The best three entries will be selected for the next stage. Evaluation will be based on: Innovation • Feasibility • Impact • Scalability • Clarity • Validation • Marketability • Originality • Practicality • Team.
